Throughout the year, we take our Shabbat Services to different settings around the community. From area parks to outdoor landmarks to the homes of our welcoming congregation, we commemorate the Sabbath with a service led by Rabbi Friedman followed by a generous, kosher potluck meal together.
Friday and Saturday Religious Services
To accommodate a wide range of Jewish beliefs, we offer numerous kinds of religious services. This rich variety is designed to embrace all of our congregants and their beliefs.

Friday evening services begin at 7:30pm on Zoom or in person. Please check with the office.
Our in-person Saturday morning Conservative Egalitarian services start at 9:00am.
Once a month we offer a Reform service beginning at 10:30am.

Please check our Upcoming Events page to find out the dates and times for all of our current services. We always welcome you to attend.

Shabbat on the Road
At different times throughout the year, we take our Friday evening Shabbat services to member's homes. Shabbat services are led by Rabbi Friedman followed by a potluck meal. What better way to celebrate Shabbat than with friends.

Hadassah
Hadassah, the Women’s Zionist Organization of America, is a volunteer women’s organization. Its members are motivated and inspired to strengthen their partnership with Israel, ensure Jewish continuity and realize their potential as a dynamic force in American society.
Temple B’nai Israel has a Hadassah group with a monthly book club. The group also raises funds for Hadassah Hospital in Jerusalem. Many of our Temple youth attend Camp Young Judaea, a Jewish summer camp located in Wapaca, Wisconsin and promoted by Hadassah. Most of our members are Hadassah life members, including many of our men who are associate members.

If you're interested in joining Hadassah at Temple B'nai Israel, please let our office know.
